There's not much in life that I really don't like, but I just spent the last hour doing the one thing I really and truly hate.
Laundry.
I know, I know, everyone hates laundry. It's one of those things in life that has to be done whether we like it or not. I know I shouldn't complain, I should be grateful that I have a large capacity washer and dryer, that it's upstairs, that I even have a washer and dryer and electricity and shout and biz and that I can do laundry at all and that I don't have to do it by hand like our pioneer ancestors, and blah blah blah blah.
I hate it. Hate it, HAte it, HATe it, HATE it, HATE It, HATE IT!!
Sorting, spraying stains, folding pants, hanging shirts, folding shirts, folding towels, scrubbing stains, hanging do-not-dry items, handwashing, folding sheets, and the worst of all...matching socks!! Why do my girls refuse to wear the same style of socks??
It doesn't matter if I just do a couple of loads a day or do it all at once, the bins are never empty, someone is always putting dirty clothes or a towel or sheets right back in.
Sigh.
Just had to get it out tonight.
