On Friday our new elementary school was dedicated. We weren't sure if we'd be going to it, then we found out that Kiersten's essay was one of two chosen to be read at the ceremony. So of course we had to go! Apparently it was a pretty big deal--there was a state senator, district representative, superintendents, etc. in attendance--Kiersten spent an hour practicing with her teacher before school and a lot of time the night before preparing. She did a great job!
