Chris made a variety of pancakes for breakfast. Chocolate chip pancakes, by the way, are absolutely yummy and if you've never tried putting chocolate chips in pancakes you are missing out--try them!!
School got out early and so we did silly string to celebrate, then hit the pool with the rest of the neighboorhood.
In the evening, Abs performed a couple of cheerleading dances at the T-Bones game opener.
Abs was in her element, I don't think that girl has a shy bone in her body:)

After the performance, we stayed to watch a little T-Bones action. I've been to a lot of Royals games since living in KC, but this was my first T-Bones. I have to say that the T-Bones were a lot of fun.
My sister, Tiffanie, and Kierst and Abs.

Chris' brother, J, came into town to present a paper at a scholarly Mormon history conference, so he joined us afterwards.
Chris' parents came, too, to hear J's presentation, we were lucky to see everyone for a few days--it just wasn't long enough.

Kierst and Abs also had a dance recital that weekend.
Abs did a tap number, and knew her part perfectly.
Kierst's was ballet, and her hands were lovely.

Loved watching them perform!
